The 2012 Latvian Summer United Youth Camp will take place in Cesis at the Rakši recreation centre, located in the beautiful surroundings of National Gauja Valley Park, just several kilometers from Cesis town, Latvia, about 45 miles out of Riga. The National Guaja Valley Park is known for its beautiful hiking trails and picnic sites.
The dates are from Sunday, July 15, through Sunday, July 22, 2012. The camp offers on-site activities and also provides an environment for all campers to interact with one another as well as with the adult staff. Opportunities will be available for exploring the surrounding area as activities are wide and varied and offer something for everyone to enjoy. The Camp is for pre-teens (6-11) and teens (12-18).
