Good Works and United Youth Corps are once again co-sponsoring a project in Guatemala from December 25, 2016 to January 8, 2017.

United Youth Corps and Good Works will once again be co-sponsoring a project in Guatemala! This project will take place at the Eagle’s Nest Orphanage from Dec. 25, 2016, until Jan. 8, 2017. Plans are being made to have an event with the Guatemalan brethren’s children prior to going to Eagle’s Nest Orphanage.

The children at Eagle’s Nest Orphanage thrive on receiving individual attention from loving adults. Therefore the Youth Corps Team’s primary goal will be to spend time each day showing the children love, affection and building relationships.

The team will conduct fun activities; including music, sports, English and Bible lessons, outdoor games, swimming, and art projects. Team members will also spend time improving the Eagle’s Nest orphanage through a work project.

Eagle’s Nest encourages the groups to craft the project based on the strengths of the volunteers. Other secondary objectives include helping contribute to the maintenance of the campus, provide entertainment, or help with serving meals to local children in need.

****update**** Volunteers have been chosen, view their bios below!
