I am 24 years old and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I currently live and attend the UCG Cincinnati-east congregation. The word ‘congregation’ does not describe the family I have there, and the true love that is shared between us. Without this family, and without God’s truth, I would not be near adequate enough to be considered to serve at the camp in Jamaica.
This year I began my junior year of college. I am studying at the University of Cincinnati to attain my bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering. God willing, I will graduate the first semester of 2017, or a slightly earlier! Additionally I have an associate’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering technology that really served as a great precursor to the engineering world when I was younger and less experienced. With my education I plan on working in the aerospace industry developing propulsion systems. I am always open to new ideas for a career path involving engineering though, as I’ve learned that there are innumerable never-thought-of opportunities in this world.
Away from the stresses of the college life, I’m overly creative, and I let that creativity get the best of the engineering tools I’m learning. I love designing and building just about anything. My love for making and creating begins at drawing and painting, swings to electronics and automation, delves deep into the automotive world, and comes full circle in pretending to be good at guitar and ukulele.
The end of what I am begins with the opportunity to eternal life, entering into God’s kingdom as a servant of His.
