David Rains is from Ludlow Massachusetts, and is a member of the Worcester Massachusetts congregation of New England United Church of God. David is currently a senior at The University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College, where he hopes to finish up his bachelors in biology and eventually continue on to grad school to become a physician’s assistant. He is the oldest of six and loves working with children, he has experience mentoring Foster Children in the Massachusetts area, and in his free time David loves to fish and spend time in the great outdoors. He also enjoys playing the piano and volunteering at various United Youth Camps including this past summer where he volunteered at the Cotubic, Buckeye and Jamaica camps. David looks forward to serving the youth in Brazil this year.
