Today is my last full day in Pretoria before flying to Capetown for the Good News seminar to be held on the Sabbath. Jason, Isella and I drove about half an hour to the Intundla Game Lodge and Bush Spa on the outskirts of the Johannesburg area. There's where a Pentecost weekend will be held for the Johannesburg area in mid-May. Last year this same event was held for the entire country in the Drakensburg Mountains in the SE, but because of distance and expense it will probably be just more local for Johannesburg people. Already more than 53 have signed up about cabins for the weekend. Jason told me that he got the idea from the Lafayette and Terre Haute congregations doing a similar event when we get together for Pentecost at an Indiana State Park each year for Friday night through Monday morning. Not all people stay the entire time, but all come to something...particularly Pentecost on Sunday.
The location is truly impressive. There is a lake (formed by dam) cabins, conference halls of different sizes, a buffet and more. Chantelle, the manager treated us to lunch and look around. We enjoyed the experience.
It's an easy day.....had dinner at Webster's and planning on checking out here tomorrow AM and fly to Capetown where Vivien Botha will pick me up and we continue.....
